<h1>Laser Printer Toner Cartridges</h1>
A laser printer uses what is called a toner cartridge instead of ink.  Depending on your printer, a toner cartridge might cost  around $70.  That is what the cartridge costs for my HP 4L laser printer.  A toner cartridge will yield around 4000 pages making it significantly more economical that an inkjet printer for quantity of pages.  Color cartridges are a bit more and you must have a cartridge for each of the 3 primary colors.

I bought my HP 4L laser printer in 1995 and still use it.  It went so long without needing replacement the first time that I thought it would last forever.  Not quite but it was a long time.
